- Placed 2nd Place in the Guitar Center Drum Off Competition in Edina, MN - September 2005
- Tied for 1st Place in the Mars Music Hot Sticks Drum Competition, Bloomington, MN - August 2001
- Placed 1st Place for Lightning Music and Sound Drum Off, Austin, TX - May 1990
-  Voted in the Top 10 for Best Drummer  - Austin Chronicle (Early 1990's)
-  Played SXSW (South By Southwest Music Festival) 1991 at the Austin City Colisseum, to a crowd of about 2,000 people in Austin, Texas.
-  Opened for Roxx Gang, L.A Guns, Lord Tracy, Well Hung Johnny,  Tuff,  Arc Angels, Pariah, Bad Boy, Quiet Riot, Foghat, Blue Murder, Bonham, Dope, 40 Below Summer, Slitheryn, Black Flood Diesel, Soil, Five Finger Death Punch, Lynch Mob, Eye Empire, Seven Day Sonnet, Candlelight Red, and Sevendust.
-  Was offered to be a studio musician at "Studio D" in Austin Texas.
-  Opened for Arc Angels in Austin, Texas, with live broadcast over Z-102 Radio.
-  Recorded a Demo CD with The Leigh Cates Band, Austin, Texas, with a small tour of the South and Southwest U.S.
-  Released a CD with the band Rainmaker in Minneapolis, Minnesota, which was promoted worldwide including Japan, Sweden, and Britain, and toured the North midwest U.S.
-  Had 1 song with Rainmaker on a Perris Worldwide Promotions, Sampler CD #4, which was promoted worldwide.
- Played with Teri Timms (Formerly of Onyxx)
- Played with Danny Aaron (Formerly of Dangerous Toys), and Jason McMasters (Dangerous Toys, Watchtower)
-  Played a Red Cross Benefit on October 7, 2001 with his former band SoulCage, with Kelly Keagy of Night Ranger, Fergie Frederiksen of Toto, and Brian Bart of Dareforce.
- Played the Minneapolis Mayhem Festival, 2004 at the Quest Nightclub, Mpls, MN with Morbid Angel, Enforsaken, Heathen, Avenger of Blood, Usurper, Fleshgrind, and many other acts.
- His band Downside of Truth released a 4 song EP entitled "Bleeding 101" with a small midwest tour in support.
-Downside of Truth was featured in a local cable channel TV show, "Minnesota Music" in October of 2004, had multiple plays on 93X radio, and was featured in multiple Minneapolis/St. Paul magazines.
-Released a CD with his band National Overdrive entitled "Welcome to the Nation"and the advanced single "Motivator spent 3 months on the MWR Top 20 charts. The CD hit 300+ radio stations across the US with the release of digital downloads shortly after. National Overdrive also charted #3, #21 and #25 on the CMJ. The song "Determination" written solely by Matt James also charted.
